University of Oxford Botanic Garden | | Lovely venue and very knowledgeable education officer, students particularly enjoyed the greenhouses. The session we signed up for was 'Human impact on the environment' and although the talk we received was excellent and tied in with this theme, the activities that followed about adaptation and biomimicry did not fit in particularly well. It might be better to create some new activities that require less reading but are more engaging/investigative so that students explore the collection more thoroughly and are required to think more independently e.g. drawing features, identifying adaptations, suggesting ideas. | 26 June 2024 |

Essex Outdoors Mersea | | Great activities, and very good food. Friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely venue. It was challenging for children to use showers and toilets at times because there were so many children on site. There was also a stomach bug going around, which affected the children's confidence and enjoyment, though we have not udentified the origin of the bug as yet. | 25 June 2024 |

Robinwood Activity Centre - Dobroyd Castle | | Robinwood Staff were fantastic in every way. They were supportive of the needs of the children and very organised. Staff were knowledgeable about our children, and very reactive where needed when any minor issues arose. The nature of the activities planned really gave our children experiences they may not usually get and pushed their limits on challenging themselves. | 25 June 2024 |
