A lot of the features such as the big melt were not working or they weren't put on for our visit which was a bit of a shame for the amount of money the pupils spent. We weren't given prior warning of this either. (March 2019 - Primary - Post No: 10255 )

Few of the exhibits were not in action. (March 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 10248 )

The children enjoyed the day and the hands on experience. (March 2019 - Primary - Post No: 10006 )

The site is very safe and controlled, staff well trained and friendly/ helpful. Children found the scale of the venue amazing and the exhibitions around MAGNA interactive and engaging. One or two exhibits not in service hence 4/5. (February 2019 - Primary - Post No: 9638 )

The children really enjoyed the trip however there were a lot of interactive resources and equipment that were out of order. (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 8213 )

Excellent workshops and activities for the children to complete. The museum was very busy on the day that we attended but staff were well prepared for this and there were very good systems in place. A criticism might be that we waited for 'The Big Burn' exhibition to begin. It was listed as starting at 11 o'clock but after a ten minute wait nothing happened. There were a number of schools waiting. Only when I approached a museum guide was I told that there was a technical issue. (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7999 )

Activity rooms are engaging and enjoyable for the children. The workshop was ot as effective due to the teacher talking for the majority of it rather than having the children do the work. (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7713 )

This is a huge venue with lots to see and experience. It is very dark inside so take as many adults as you possibly can - definitely one to over-staff! There's so much to do and see; we didn't get time to do everything. (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7652 )

Lots of hands-on activities for children to complete, never bored and very helpful staff. (October 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7049 )

A great day had by all with meaningful learning experiences! Great demonstrations. (October 2018 - Primary - Post No: 6698 )

Excellent visit as usual, though as we return each year we do find more and more of the experiments not working. I think it requires a little investment to bring everything up to scratch again. (September 2018 - Primary - Post No: 6235 )
