Excellent day out, the children loved all parts of the trip. The science show was fantastic and a great way to bring their learning to life. (October 2023 - Primary School)
Very well planned and having a tour guide makes the day run so smoothly. Work shop gross lab linked well to our Science topic and the NC. (October 2023 - Primary School)

Eureka were very good and very organized. We were met off the coach and separated into 2 main groups one each with a lead teacher and 4 other adults. We got our lunches and coats taken and stored in bins for the day (or until lunch).
The way the day worked was that one group went round the interactive museum first and then had a work shop and the other group did the opposite.
We had a senses work shop which linked to our living things science and how animals use their senses as well as humans.
Everything ran smoothly and Eureka staff were well prepared and knowledgeable about everything.

The site was very well run and organised. We were supported by a dedicated member of staff at all times who helped the children get the most out of each area of the museum. The timings were perfect and the transitions between areas was fluid and well organised. Overall, I was very happy with this experience and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it. The venue was very good and had lots of good provision for primary-aged children. I felt however that the venue was perhaps pitched a little too old for the nursery class. (March 2020 - Primary School)

Eureka is still a fun place for young children to explore. It hasn't really changed in the past 15 years with most of the same activities, but the children just love the shop, post office, garage etc. The new light exhibition was really good especially for our SEND children. (February 2020 - Primary School)
excellent trip (February 2020 - Primary School)
Great experience for all.
Busy areas with other schools. Next time take hi-vis jackets for children. (February 2020 - Primary School)

Eureka was a fantastic trip, the museum was interactive, interesting and so exciting. The children thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The staff were very knowledgeable and the children came away with a very solid understanding of the human digestive system. (November 2019 - Primary School)
We gained everything we wanted to out of our trip. The children enjoyed the hands on learning and the variety of tasks that the Children's Museum encouraged them to undertake whilst there. (November 2019 - Primary School)
Excellent provision and educational location, unfortunately just on the outer reaches of a good bus journey for our children to have a full days value at the centre (October 2019 - Primary School)
Trip overall was a fantastic day full of learning and new experiences. (October 2019 - Primary School)
Eureka was very well organised and the children really enjoyed all of the galleries. The workshop was well presented with lots of interesting facts, the children loved the messy experiment. (October 2019 - Primary School)

Super place, lots to do, safe for the children, children really enjoyed themselves, close enough to school (July 2019 - Primary School)
Lots of learning opportunities which linked to our topic and the children enjoyed.
Spaces to eat lunch were organised well and accommodated 90 of us.
Staff were friendly and on hand to help.
The amount of other children and schools made it difficult at times to have an eye on all children. Perhaps there could be school visit only days during term times for those schools that have such a large amount of children. (June 2019 - Primary School)

Eureka as a venue and the different actitivies within are excellent. The science workshop we visited wasn't as good quality and needed to be adapted to the younger audience. (March 2019 - Primary School & Secondary School)
Great venue. Well organised. Quite a few areas had exhibits that weren't working which was disappointing. (March 2019 - Primary School)
Very well organised. Children explored the museum safely. We had a member of staff supervising th exit to the my body section to ensure no individual left the area. (March 2019 - Primary School)
We had a wonderful day and the children got a lot from it. (March 2019 - Primary School)
The computing was interesting. However, the activities after this were not appropriate to Y6. I wouldn't take a class back there unless there were guided sessions. (February 2019 - Primary School)
Amazing venue, great facilities, other schools were there but it wasn't too busy. Price was ideal and there were options to add talks for a further price. (February 2019 - Secondary School)
Excellent Living in Space workshop and the children really enjoyed exploring the rest of the museum. So many learning opportunities for EYFS children. (February 2019 - Primary School)

We had a good day at Eureka. The actual setting hasn't changed much in the last few years but our Year 2 children were really engaged and interested to learn about the Human Body. Unfortunately the workshop before us ran over, so ours ended up being a little rushed. Otherwise a great trip for Year 2 children. (November 2018 - Primary School)
Safe and suitable for the group taken (November 2018 - Primary School)
The workshop was fantastic and the day was well organised. The only thing that let it down this time is the fact that i thought too many schools were booked in on the same day. (November 2018 - Primary School)
(October 2018 - Primary School)
Although the resources and exhibitions inside Eureka were very good, the organisation and planning on Eureka's part wasn't great. We got there at the same time as other schools and were unable to access 'The Body' area which we were there to see. One group was only allowed to access this part for 15 minutes during the whole day. Also the 'workshop' recommended during booking the trip about the body, was not actually about the body, but animals and their 'superpowers'. This was noted once the information about the day had been sent through but too late notice to change or cancel. (October 2018 - Primary School)
Brilliant interactive experience. Children very much enjoyed it! (September 2018 - Primary School)
(July 2018 - Primary School)
Eureka is an excellent venue for younger children to visit. I would like to say that just in my option that this venue is a little young for years 5/6. The activities that eureka but on are really good for the younger ones. Excellent day out the children we took (July 2018 - Primary School)

The children enjoyed the museum however some of the areas were in need of renovation. For our groups in the future we would use the 'All About Me' gallery first and spend longer in there. The Generation Code workshop was enjoyed by all our children. (December 2017 - Primary School)
