The centre was brilliant, engaging activities and the thing that helped it so much was the staff. All three instructors were outstanding with the kids. The only thing which was a downside was the cold inside the activity hangers, but this is beyond their control. Highly recommended. (March 2020 - Secondary - Post No: 20465 )

Expensive but good (February 2020 - Secondary - Post No: 19317 )

Staff who work at Calshot in the field studies centre are fabulous. Activities staff are also good on the whole - happy to adapt sessions as needed. Children really enjoyed their week. Accommodation (in the newest block) is good. No one went hungry - the catering staff were superb. (December 2019 - Primary - Post No: 18132 )

Friendly, knowledgeable and patient staff. Accommodation was dated and shower facilities could be improved. Meals were fine, although not much variety, particularly with some fussy eaters. Also not many vegetables on offer! (October 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16925 )

(September 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16091 )

A terrific centre - the best residential site I have ever been to (better than PGL and Kingswood in my opinion). Once you visit, you will know. (September 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16070 )

Great support and understanding of needs presented. (May 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 12455 )

The staff at Calshot are fantastic and made our week purposeful and enjoyable. Facilities at the centre were brilliant and the food was lovely! (April 2019 - Primary - Post No: 11065 )

Staff and facilities were excellent. Feedback from most pupils was very positive and overall it had been a very positive experience. Feedback from some pupils was negative about food options, food amounts and luke warm food. There were also comments about luke warm/cold showers in the morning, but this was not every morning. (December 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 8336 )

Calshot staff are fantastic: committed to giving their client schools the best experience possible. The week is very well planned and organised and easy to run when there! (November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 8052 )

(November 2018 - Primary - Post No: 7879 )

Well trained staff, very good facilities and everything organised well. A few changes to policies between our booking and visit which caused a few stresses leading up to the weekend. (November 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 7567 )

Excellent experience with highly qualified instructors who stay with the group throughout the visit so they can really get to know the children. Excellent organisation, equipment and facilities. (September 2018 - Primary - Post No: 6081 )

(July 2018 - Primary - Post No: 5719 )

A brilliant visit! The children had an amazing time and all the Calshot staff were fantastic. (July 2018 - Primary - Post No: 5014 )

Great at leading the activities but there was a lack of organisation and communication around break and lunch time which resulted in different groups being left for lunch in different areas that the class leader was not aware of. (May 2018 - Primary - Post No: 3484 )
