Welcome to Aylmerton Field Study Centre, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of rural North Norfolk. Adjacent to the magnificent National Trust estate at Felbrigg, but just 15 minutes from the beach with Blakeney Point and The Broads both within easy reach, we are ideally placed for your next residential visit.
We have been North Norfolk's best kept secret for the past 21 years. From first-time visitors, to those who have returned to us year in, year out since our earliest days, we can provide an experience which is second to none.

This is a fantastic venue for a residential visit. The staff are all brilliant- they build a brilliant rapport with the children while being both entertaining and informative. Sparky in particular helped one student with autism face his fears of heights so he could complete a high ropes challenge and made him so proud of himself!
The food and the accommodation is great although we do prefer The Lodge as we feel the dorm sizes are more appropriate for our children.

This year I felt that we were under too much time pressure for the children to fully benefit from the activities/experiences that they were taking part in. Only issue - coaches travelling to Norfolk and back. They were not Aylmerton's and were hot with no air con. Aylmerton coaches, whilst we were there, were modern and cool. Consider changing coach company next year. (June 2019 - Primary School)

Outstanding, fully immersive three days with wonderfully 'played' characters in role to enhance the experience. despite the weather, all activities took place and the children thoroughly enjoyed the full-on experience. Absolutely fantastic trip! The staff are amazing and make it such a memorable trip for all children. The children gained so much, both in developing personal skills, team skills and in their understanding of the environment and geographical skills. The Lodge used has recently been upgraded with further improvements to showers planned. Catering very good with suitable arrangements made for specific diets. Children thoroughly enjoyed the activities planned from professional staff. A great trip for year 5. (February 2018 - Primary School)
Great centre, great staff, activities were full on with only 5 mins between activities. Next time would build in 1/2 hr break after lunch and dinner to allow meals to settle.
