The company was very helpful concerning the social unrest in Paris at the time of the visit. The company director made all assurances and contingency plans necessary. The driver was excellent and negotiated the appalling traffic with poise and patience. I was able to liaise with him regarding drop-off and pick-up points. Response from Miss Mott, Trip Leader. We experienced problems with one of the coaches supplied by an external company, which did not meet our stated needs for an adequate disability enabled coach for one student using an electric wheelchair, with the result that the student was unable to go on the trip and due to the delay in resolving the issue, other students missed out on an activity. The company has, however, been very helpful in offering refunds, compensation and offering to organise a free school trip for the disabled boy and his friends to take place on a date to be arranged. I believe Schools into Europe need to make more extensive checks of the experience drivers of coaches have when contracting to coach companies. Our driver had never taken a group overseas before and this was obvious, he needed to have a second driver mentor or to have prepared more than he had for the visit. (July 2018 - Primary School)
The bus company they chose contracted out to another company for one of the 5 buses and this bus and driver did not have the same preparation and training as the others. Hence the 4 rather than 5 stars. (June 2018 - Primary School)
