Great area for children to explore the outdoors, could have spent longer on the sensory and water activities. Cinema was not very good, but lunch provided was great children really enjoyed the food although organisation of getting it took a long time. (September 2023 - Primary School)

Walk and path ways were extremely flooded and areas were difficult to access. We felt this have may been down to a lack of maintenance of the paths. (May 2023 - Primary School)

The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The children had a wonderful time at the Santa experience and couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. (June 2022 - Primary School)
Took pupils within a larger group who used wheelchairs - site not fully accessible for these children. Delivery not organised particularly well. Communication with the site beforehand was poor and repsonses unforthcoming. (May 2022)

Fantastic school trip! The Conkers staff are super friendly and helpful, and planned some great activities for the children. The Valley of Lights and meeting Santa was great, and all children got to individually speak to him. The train drivers delayed their lunchtime so that we could all have a round trip on the train, which was very much appreciated as the children loved it. (December 2021 - Primary School)

The workshop didn't have enough resources for the workshop for the last group.
The workshop leader didn't always introduce herself to the children and lead the group and nobody did a welcome talk to the children this time.
The facilities were acceptable and systems for lunchbox/bag storage were fine.
The train driver kindly collected items dropped on the train!
There were older children in the playground acting inappropriately around the children (swearing, boisterous). (May 2019 - Primary School)
Very good 2 day visit. The Cans, Compost and Paper was excellent (run by John) and very informative. The Underwater Wonderland was a little disappointing compared to last year. The leader of the activity was pleasant but didn't reinforce safety instructions as adequately as last year. As a consequence, 1 person from each of our groups fell in this year. No-one from either group fell in last year!!! The water was not deep - but unpleasant for the children concerned who had wet feet and clothes for the rest of the day!! The leader also appeared to know less about her subject matter this time and did not talk to the children about the food chain in a pond as the person did last year.
