| Kingswood Staffordshire | Organisation at Kingswood Staffordshire is poor. Activity groups were too large which meant children waited for long periods of time whilst getting extremely cold. The site seems to be run by a very young and inexperienced group of people. We also have questions about safety and activity regulations at the site. | Magna Science Centre | The trip was very successful for a number of reasons. The centre itself has lots to see and do and the quizzes provided beforehand were invaluable tools to keep the children engaged and focus their learning. The four different zones ensured a breadth of knowledge was covered. The workshop was well-led and the children were highly engaged. Many of the activities had been covered beforehand in class. It might have been useful to have more detailed scientific explanations during the workshop or even further learning challenges to be completed back in the classroom. (This is just a suggestion). | Wakehurst Place | Wakehurst Place was an excellent venue to take the children to learn about Plants for their Science topic. The grounds are beautiful and the staff / volunteers very knowledge and helpful in all regards.
