Wakehurst Place was an excellent venue to take the children to learn about Plants for their Science topic. The grounds are beautiful and the staff / volunteers very knowledge and helpful in all regards. The selection of options available to choose from was substantial but the choices made through discussion fit the desired learning outcomes and were enjoyed by all. Very well organised by Wakehurst Place- the lead teachers ran the day. The site is very large but all of our activities were within close proximity to each other. We ate lunch outside but there were rooms/a large tent in place in case of poor weather. All of the activities were well organised and appropriate for the age group.
