Disappointed in food this year and less enthusiastic staff at the end of the season but otherwise a good stay. Good accommodation and good range of activities. (October 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16907 )

The staff and activities were brilliant, but there were a few issues on site this year. The maintenance of the cabins was not great, we had lots of blocked pipes for showers and toilets. We also got the impression they were short staffed as we have always had two leaders for our group and this year we only had one (who had never led a group before). We were given a very early breakfast slot which they were not able to change and they timetabled a very messy activity right before we were due to leave, causing disruption with suitcases and changes of clothes. Outbreak of illness, and lack of consideration given by some staff and in particular transport staff spoiled somewhat an otherwise ideal trip. (September 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16258 )

Ferry - Children not allowed off coach during crossing due to sickness at PGL site despite none of the children from our school being ill? (September 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16170 )

very successful visit with children exceeding their own relative expectations. Some transport issues as we were foot passengers. Poss consider reverting to using the coach onto the ferry. (June 2019 - Primary - Post No: 13456 )

Excellent Trip - enjoyed by all and very successful. (June 2019 - Primary - Post No: 13263 )

The group enjoyed the activities and staff were sensitive to the needs of the group, who all have SEN. They were able to modify their language to give simple instructions to the group, and to modify the activity if need be, and were sensitive and appreciative that not all of our children would be persuaded to take part in an activity. Most of the course leaders spoke appropriately to the age group of children they were teaching and understood their need for visual demonstrations. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and participated in most activities. (May 2019 - Primary - Post No: 11790 )

Great venue, helpful staff, fun activities (February 2019 - Primary - Post No: 9825 )

Fieldwork was excellent but activities were not as good as expected from PGL due to the time of year and the fact we were the first school of the year. (February 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 9634 )

Our accommodation was excellent, our leader really helpful, and the activities really well run. (December 2018 - Primary - Post No: 8437 )

Most of the visit was very well organised and delivered. However, some issues with the hot water meant that not all pupils or staff were able to shower daily. Also, there was some variation in the quality and calibre of activity leaders. (March 2018 - Primary - Post No: 1919 )
