We also hold the Best Customer Service 2015 award from the British Youth Travel Association and were finalists in 2016 and 2017. We are the only school tour operator to the Customer Service Excellence accreditation and also hold the Investors In People accreditation.

WST are members of ABTA, ATOL and STF and hold the LOTC badge. As a member of the School Travel Forum, WST are annually audited by an external body; Argent. 1) On the journey into London the coach driver took a very 'Scenic' route going North and coming back down to Wembley via the Dartford tunnel and who knows where - we didn't arrive at the hotel until 11.30/11.45 2) When we arrived at the hotel we were unable to leave our luggage in a room as agreed prior to departure - we were also not able to check in until after the theatre performance in the evening, as the hotel was so far out of central London (hour and half journey each way). 3) The itinerary was not particularly well planned with the two meals being on the same day, with a 2 hour break in between (our kids eat a lot - but that would take some doing!) Luckily we were able to re-arrange this, but it shouldn't have been planned this way?? 4) When we returned to the hotel, we again had a room with 4 boys and 2 double beds (hotel were great and sorted it pretty quickly, but what was the point of doing the rooming lists beforehand??) 5) During the breakfast it was mentioned to me that the hotel staff were a bit abrupt/rude to our students 6) The drivers had hotel rooms booked but did not stay in them?? 7) In the morning the 2nd coach was half an hour late for picking us up (had a knock on effect for the timings of the day!) 8) coach drivers had not been told where they were bringing us to for our final pick up (thought they were going back to hotel) Think this was an issue with the coach company not necessarily WST but still not great! On a positive note, the tickets for the show were really good, and both performances were great, the workshop was the best one I've ever done on a school trip (very impressed with the delivery and the amount of staff they had running it!) hotel rooms were ok (not as nice as a premier inn!) and we made good time on the journey home despite a few wrong turns!
