Fantastic workshop - girls probably a little tired in the afternoon. We didn't get much free time around the museum but we did complete our learning objectives. Very helpful staff. (November 2023 - Primary School)

(October 2023 - Primary School & Secondary School)

Good if you have a guided tour - much more effective and engaging for KS1 children if there is a guide, (October 2023 - Primary School)

(June 2023 - Primary School)

(June 2023 - Primary School)

ccessibility was an issue. When booking group was not made aware that the ride would be unavailable to the children. This led to disappointment. This should be explained upon booking. Lots of interactive exhibits were out of order. Could be more hands on for younger children. (March 2023 - Primary School)

and Travel and tourism as Tourist attraction (February 2023 - Secondary School)

(December 2022 - Primary School)

Absolutely brilliant trip. The session was really valuable and tightly run. The children loved it! (December 2022 - Primary School)

(December 2022 - Primary School)

(November 2022 - Primary School)

Focus on transport timeline. (October 2022 - Primary School)

Fantastic place to visit. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the day. The workshop was excellent and the children loved the practical elements. We really needed longer in the museum so that we could get around all of it but the children (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. (October 2022 - Primary School)

(July 2022 - Primary School)

(June 2022 - Primary School)

(May 2022 - Secondary School)

They were great with the children and were really informative. The guided worksheet they gave on our tour was a fantastic tool to use in lessons. (March 2022 - Primary School)

All of the students enjoyed looking around the exhibits and found out information about things they did not know previously. (March 2022 - Secondary School)

(March 2022 - Primary School)

(March 2022 - Primary School)

(February 2022 - Secondary School)

The girls had an amazing day at the Girls on Track event. They have taken away so much new knowledge and so many new skills, some of them are now talking about potential careers in STEM and are rethinking their aspirations. (February 2022 - Primary School)

(December 2021 - Primary School)

(December 2021 - Primary School)

A very enjoyable trip and where the students were able to learn about Our diverse planet (British science week) through travel and transport. (March 2020 - Secondary School)

(February 2020 - Secondary School)

Excellent support from the venue and facilities suitable for the event. (November 2019 - Primary School & Secondary School)

(July 2019 - Primary School)

(June 2019 - Primary School)

Engaging activities that involved a carousel of maths, reading, science and active tasks. Would go back again. (May 2019 - Primary School)

I took one minibus of secondary students following a primary curriculum due to learning difficulties. Parking in the museum's own car park kept children well away from moving traffic. Students had been carefully allocated to staff, which made it difficult for me to leave the group and register at the reception desk. (May 2019)

Interactive sessions and cross-curricular learning (April 2019 - Primary School)

The session itself was very good. Resources were easy to use and the exhibits were fantastic. However after being told we could arrive at 9:30 we were made to wait around until 10:00. (March 2019 - Primary School)

The Transport Museum at Coventry boasts the largest collection of British road transport exhibits in the world, with over 500 machines on show in the impressive new facility which has 125,000 square feet of floor space. For local history this is a worthwhile visitand the other plus side is that it is free to enter. A worthwhile day out. Our Students spent at least 2 hours looking around with some staying much longer. (February 2019 - Secondary School)

The art and photography pupils were able to produce drawings and take photographs that will contribute to building up their portfolios. Staff were available to answer any questions that the pupils had. (February 2019 - Secondary School)

(December 2018 - Primary School)

(December 2018)

Seemed to have double booked us. Not as good as last year (November 2018 - Primary School)

The workshop was well organised and pitched perfectly for the age of the children. There was enough activities to keep them interested and enthused. (November 2018 - Primary School)

Great Chronological Collection of Transport which explains developments in history, materials, engineering, technology and so on. (July 2018 - Secondary School)

(June 2018 - Primary School)

(June 2018 - Primary School)

Very good museum. For our group a little more dressing up or the ability to sit in some cars would have been good, but this is based only on our group of children. (June 2018 - Primary School)

(May 2018 - Primary School)

The Victorian bicycle workshop was much shorter than advertised - and the leader was not as knowledgeable as in previous years. (May 2018 - Primary School)

(April 2018 - Primary School)

The information and knowledge provided by the leader of the workshop was good, however, some of the questioning was a little too difficult for some of the children to understand and the workshop leader didn't pick up on the mixed ability level of the children. Also, the leader spoke very quickly and the children found her accent a little difficult to understand. (Victorian Cycles Timeline Workshop) (March 2018 - Primary School)

Very well organised trip. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. (March 2018 - Primary School)
