For over 30 years, we’ve enabled transformative travel experiences right around the world. These experiences complement school learning, giving students the opportunity to become true life-learners and true global citizens.
We give students the opportunity to write their own stories, make their own mistakes, live their own adventures, learn and grow with peers, see the world with open eyes that are focused towards those around them.
We’ve watched on as these life changing experiences have brought out the best in our travellers for many years, since 1987 in fact. It’s perhaps best brought to life by our 150,000+ alumni that have returned home forever changed, many being inspired to continue the pursuit of positive global citizenship, from advocacy work in foreign nations through to leading world-shaping environmental initiatives.

I could write so much here - I shall try and drop Mike H a direct email at some point with the some thoughts and feedback on what went well and what didn't on the trip, especially as one suspects that more schools will be looking to restart World Challenge over the next year or so. On the whole, we had a great trip, but it was tough. One of my comments is that, an 8 day ski trip is one thing, but a 21 day trip, 5000 miles away from home, is another. The project was not organised well and students found it disappointing
It appeared that World Challenge did not have a good handle on in-country team.
The information given to students at the initial sign up meeting was misleading as many of the images were not a true representation of the area we were visiting.

Very varied experience. The people "in country" were 5 stars all the way, their "back office" I would not give one star to, they lacked guidance and leadership or even any suggestions when leaving me with two sick children in Tibet (though were quick to promise parents these pupils would have a fantastic time organised by world challenge - though I was the only person left with them). In particular we waited 8 hours to get an "all clear" to use medicines provided to a child with severe gastro enteritis - absolutely unacceptable and involved me chasing them constantly.
