The experience was outstanding. However, the value for money was questionable. This trip cost each student a vast sum; it was not clear to me where the cost was justified. Accommodation for 8 nights was camping - often with little or no facilities; plus there were other concerns such as expecting students to purchase cooking pots and utilities from supermarkets that were being used on open fires and therefore needed to be more robust than the supermarket bought equipment were capable of. Feedback has been given to WC regarding this.
