The children took part in a Victorian 'Whodunnit' activity whilst learning about life in the workhouse. This visit was fantastic in that it really brought to life the learning which the children had been doing in the classroom. (September 2024 - Primary School)

This venue is fully flexible for a variety of visits for all key stages. The trip we went on is perfect for reception children and I would be reluctant to take them elsewhere. All seven areas of the EYFS curriculum were covered through the activities. (July 2024 - Primary School)

An amazing venue for a trip! There was so much to see, do and learn with the practical, hands on activities that brought history alive - our children loved every moment. The venue was very well resourced and set up into areas and the staff organised everything seamlessly. We visited in January and it was very good value for money - adults just be aware that the cafe is not open so take your own hot drinks if you need them! (January 2024 - Primary School)

Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed their first school trip in over two years. The Stone Age Day experience was excellent. Lots of hands on activities. The pace was just right giving children enough time to try each activity but not for long enough that they lost interest. The pitch was also perfect for the year 3-5 age group. (October 2019 - Primary School)

This was a very good visit with lots of hand-on experience about Neolithic life. Children were able to use their learning in their writing and history work. Next time I will book the visit for slightly later in the topic as there was a little confusion between Mesolithic and Neolithic when we were working in class and it is good to go through chronologically.
