Tower of London - Historic Royal Palaces | | Everything went very smoothly, from picking up the wristbands at the Welcome Centre to having time in the lunch room. Toby, our guide for Fire! Fire! was excellent and the children were very well behaved with him because they were engaged. | 15 November 2021 |
Housesteads Roman Fort | | Very nice staff and a tidy, clean fort.
| 15 November 2021 |
Mount Cook Adventure Centre | | Excellent facilities - comfortable bed, en-suite rooms, all meals provided, tea and coffee for staff all day.
As the students were kept busy all day, by the evening they were ready for bed and woke up fresh for the full day of activities.
Knowledgeable instructors who made the activities fun and educational.
Being centre based everything, was readily available.
I will suggest for next time that we do a night walk.

Bunker 51 | | The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The venue environment is good; however, the floor of the arena on the day was a bit slippery mainly because it was the same arena for paintball games. This was probably because that the paint was not cleaned well after the previous paintball games.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses | | Lovely trip. Children had a great time and learnt alot. | 14 November 2021 |
PGL Liddington | | The children had a great time however our attending staff had a number of concerns. The evening activities were not well thought out. On our first evening we had an outside activity requiring teams of children to locate clues. This was in the dark. No torches provided. One of our members of staff trod on a rusty nail resulting in a trip to A and E for a tetanus booster. One child was wrongly given non-halal food; when this was questioned the non-halal sausage was removed from his plate and the contaminated plate returned to the child. On arrival at the canteen for a meal, a child from another group had vomited. The mess was not cleaned away for the entirety of the meal time. A table was placed over it to prevent people walking through it. | 14 November 2021 |
Warwick Castle | | | 14 November 2021 |
Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre | | The activities were excellent, accommodation was dated (we stayed in the actual house). The food was very good and accommodated all the students.
| 14 November 2021 |
Field Studies Council - Rhyd-y-creuau | | Excellent provision of all services, venue facilities and curriculum delivery.
Would recommend.
To note. Communication was slower and not as effective as previously, but this was due to new staff and IT systems in place which no doubt will be resolved quickly.

High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre Limited | | Good level of service and coaching provided for students.
Accommodation, food and equipment was well maintained and adequate.
| 13 November 2021 |
The Training Partnership | | Good, engaging speakers. Venue was a bit chilly and despite a less than half-full auditorium, no-one from our school was picked as a volunteer despite one boy from another school being picked for more than one activity! Share this out more fairly in the future, please! The exam session was disappointingly short and was more vague and generic than I would have expected - more on how to answer stuff (like command words, 6 markers) in the future, please!
Consider the pricing of tickets too now there is an online option - paying double to sit in a venue and not be any more involved than if we were watching on a screen was disappointing...! | 12 November 2021 |

Holland Park Ecology Centre | | | 12 November 2021 |
Thinktank Birmingham science museum | | We had a fantastic trip - the museum is very interactive and this really engaged the children. It was also a bonus that on Tuesday's it is school trips only - so there were no members of the public in the building. This gave us an extra level of safety. The science garden was outstanding and the planetarium show was very informative. The guide was slightly less experienced at reading the room re: behaviour, but as school staff we could assist with this.
The walk from the coach drop to the museum entrance was acceptable, there were no roads to cross making the walk easier with a full class whilst on public footpaths.
The toilet and lunch facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff were kind, enthusiastic and very helpful throughout. | 12 November 2021 |

The National Archives | | The session laid on by the education team at the National Archives was fantastic for our course of study. The resources and support given to the students was brilliant! | 10 November 2021 |
Thinktank Birmingham science museum | | Great varied and stimulating facilities for the children to get involved in. The children enjoyed recognising learning they had done in Science, as well as finding out new facts for upcoming Science units within each exhibit. The Luminous Light Show was fun and engaging, and the children enjoyed taking part. | 10 November 2021 |

Etihad Stadium | | Excellent students enjoyed the evening | 10 November 2021 |
Imperial War Museum London | | The IWM never fails to provide a very informed and interesting visit. We took part in an interactive activity for the first time with the students taking part in a webcam / podcast task which we have enjoyed reviewing back at school. All very much linked to being Future Ready. | 10 November 2021 |
Preston Space Centre | | Space is a great venue, with great accessibility for all in the forms of hoists, hygiene suites and lifts.
There is plenty for all to enjoy both in terms of it's static equipment and little extras - sensory / musical / massage etc. that the young people can use.
The staff are always friendly and will change the music to suit the young people and the lighting etc. There's also a few little buttons that the young people themselves can use to change the colours and lights in sections of the room, great interactive play for them. | 10 November 2021 |
