Visiting the Museum of London was very beneficial in supporting our learning of History. The venue had a good layout with galleries' clearly labelled. There were lots for children to see and feel. The activities provided helped children to identify and find. It had a 'treasure hunt' feel which engaged children and kept them focused. (January 2022 - Primary School)
I love this museum, a great place to visit that is well organised with many interesting exhibitions. (January 2022 - Secondary School)

All galleries were incredibly engaging and prompted historical questioning from all pupils. They were especially keen on the experience-based sections (medieval hut and Victorian street). The Roman house section was particularly informative. (October 2021 - Primary School)
An absolutely fantastic trip! Students loved it, it linked perfectly with our unit and the journey length meant it was a good reintroduction to using public transport after lockdown. (October 2021 - Primary School)

We had a super time here, the galleries were great and the 30 mins workshop we did was brilliant. A great level for all students to understand and get involved with. (January 2020 - Secondary School)
Sessions provided were excellent - very engaging for the students. Some improvements could be made to the timetabling of the day, but otherwise it was very well delivered and informative. (January 2020)

Fairly easy to book - via phone only. Very well supported when you arrive, with assigned spaces for storing coats/bags and tables for lunch. Exhibits are consistently brilliant, as are resources that can be accessed online prior to visit. (January 2020 - Primary School)

Our students followed a treasure trail round the Victorian section of the Museum of London. Clues and hints were sent to students' mobile phones by a company called Breadcrumbs. The trail had actually been set by one of our school's English teachers in collaboration with Breadcrumbs - it is aimed at KS3 students. Our students really enjoyed participating in the treasure trail and being able to use their phones was an added bonus! (July 2019 - Secondary School)
Our guide was prompt and very helpful. The museum was amazing as always, particularly the Beasts of London exhibition which all of the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend this venue for a school trip. (July 2019 - Primary School)
