Space is a great venue, with great accessibility for all in the forms of hoists, hygiene suites and lifts.
There is plenty for all to enjoy both in terms of it's static equipment and little extras - sensory / musical / massage etc. that the young people can use.
The staff are always friendly and will change the music to suit the young people and the lighting etc. There's also a few little buttons that the young people themselves can use to change the colours and lights in sections of the room, great interactive play for them. We felt very Covid safe, fabulous interactive sensory experience for our young people. having the hygiene suites and hoists in the facility make it a truly inclusive experience for everyone. (August 2021 - Secondary School)

The Space Centre is a safe and welcoming environment for young people of all ages and abilities. The staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are excellent.
Only minor point is that if in someway some of the visible non-child activated controls could be covered up more e.g. iPAD Control, plug sockets, colour pad in dining room cover door locked, this would be better for young people who's special interest is how things work, who peruse the exploration of this to a point where it could be unsafe. The centre is fabulous, staff are helpful and very pleasant.
the rooms are full of sensory equipment to suit all of the children in our groups - lights, sounds, textures, vibrations, quiet spaces, things to bounce on, dark space etc. everyone is catered for.

Fantastic setting that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The equipment available is excellent, the building is very accessible and has several hoists, hygiene suites etc. The rooms are always clean and the staff very helpful.
The multi-sensory rooms offer a large area for free play, relaxation and sensory input with several different zones offering different sensory experiences in each.
Parking can sometimes be a little tricky if all rooms are in use. (February 2019 - Secondary School)
