Very well organised day. The staff were well-prepared and understood the curiosity and interest of the children. Everywhere was clean an tidy and there were plenty of sanitising stations and hand-washing facilities around the farm . Our children really enjoyed the little stories about some of the animals and had a fabulous day. (July 2021 - Primary School)

Fantastic welcoming staff who really knew how to engage the children. (July 2021 - Primary School)

Barleylands is a lovely venue and the desire to educate the children is clearly there. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to challenge the children and extend their learning. I feel that this is lacking during the visit and that there was not enough learning for us to build on, following the visit. A questionnaire or quiz would have been great in the poly tunnels for example. (December 2019 - Primary School)
