Red Ridge Centre | | The staff at Redridge are very knowledge and I have absolute confidence in them when the chaildren are doing activities.
On Tuesday the groups from climbing/caving and canoing/biking were late back for tea. One group had to wait 45 minutes in the church car park for their coach. I spoke to Rob and the other 2 days were better.
The centre itself is clean on arrival but the accomodation probably does need refurbishment.
Making lunch for the following day is still not a great activity - it takes a long time and means that the children are sat in the same space from 5.30 until 7pm at least.

PGL Osmington Bay | | The staff on the whole were skilled and knowledgeable, they were supportive to all the children's needs. The activities were well equipped and organized. I had some concerns with the facilities e.g. non-flushing toilets and leaky sinks. Any concerns were dealt with quickly, it was a shame that staff and pupils were aware that it was the last week of the season as PGL staff were discussing this. It was also very evident in some PGL staffs motivation levels. If we could afford it, we wouldn't go the last week of the season. | 08 November 2021 |

The staff were engaging and knowledgeable and looked after us really well.
The level of the activities was perfect to meet the needs of all the children and it was fully inclusive for all children, including those with SEND and medical needs. | 08 November 2021 |

Mountain Monkeys Ltd | | The group arrived late with no message sent to school. A member of the team was having to self-isolate but no contingency plan had been arranged for this scenario. They were to continue with the visit and offer 2/3 of the planned activities. Then the climbing wall broke and so the first session ended up being a time-filler activity on the field. The climbing wall managed to be fixed and the children all took a turn. The course leader was very enthusiastic and tried his best to make a good experience out of a bad situation. The second person was young, shy and did not communicate well or interact with the children or staff. The course leader broke covid protocols a number of times and I had to remind him a number of times of our precautions.
The course leader agreed with the company that they would return free of charge. It has taken four months and three emails to get a reply from the company and they then offered the week following the email reply, which was too soon. We are awaiting the rescheduling of the event. | 04 November 2021 |
