Absolutely brilliant organisation,I have done many trips to Robin Wood over the year's and I can highly recommend the company for residential visits to their center's.Nothing is to much trouble for them and they bend over backwards to accommodate all needs of both children and adults. This was outstanding provision. It was seamless and ran smoothly from start to finish. We were looked after, staffing ratios were excellent. All staff worked extremely hard and were friendly, approachable and safe. Activities were fully inclusive and the staff were adapting when needed. The trip was a huge success. The staff were wonderful as always with the children. Change of venue this year from Todmorden to Wrexham. Not having to do the walk up to the castle gave the children more time for activities. Also worked well for our SEN children e.g Evie. Having a compact site meant that it was easy for the children to move to the next activity and gave more time on activities.
New activity at this site (high ropes challenge course) was a huge success with the children.
The bedrooms were all en-suite which meant there was no leaving of rooms in the night for comfort breaks.
All the children's dorms next to each other (boys on one floor and girls on another) with staff rooms opposite which worked well.
The staff and our two party leaders in overall charge, Emily and Alex, could not do enough for the children and staff.
One child didn't stay overnight, he arrived at 7.30 each day and left at 9pm. The staff ensured he was fully included at all times.

Amazing residential! Could not have asked for better care and a more enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was well thought out and safety was always a priority. We will be back next year! (March 2022 - Primary School)

First class residential. It is the best I have taken a group of children to. They allocate a group leader to each team and this leader leads all the activities with the group. This is excellent for helping build trust, creating a positive relationship and allowing children to achieve the most they can from each activity. (May 2019 - Primary School)
