(February 2024 - Secondary School)

(July 2023 - Primary School)

Objectives achieved. (June 2023 - Primary School)

(May 2023 - Primary School)

Great venue, so much for children to see and do. Didn't provide anywhere for children to put coats and bags on arrival so they had to carry these all round the centre. (January 2023 - Primary School)

(July 2022 - Secondary School)

Seeing lots of marine animals and experiencing the touch pools (July 2022)

A good time was had by the children and they enjoyed getting up close to the sea creatures. The guided talk was informative and covered some of the science knowledge e.g. what habitats are, whereabouts in the oceans the animals live and what nocturnal means. It was a long way to go and quite expensive (£17), I think next year we could find something else to support this topic that is cheaper/closer. OR review our topics and see where a visit would fit best - Helen and I have discussed how summer 2's topic is Enchanted Forest and maybe a forest location or similar such as Ryton Pools might suit better. (May 2022 - Primary School)

(March 2022 - Primary School)

An excellent and enjoyable place for secondary art students to make work and be inspired. Rich in photographic opportunities and learning about sea life at the same time. A one way system made it easy to keep track of students and there was plenty for all to see without becoming crowded. (February 2022 - Secondary School)

(November 2021 - Secondary School)

Pupils enjoyed a behind the scenes tour by thoroughly experienced and knowledgable staff (March 2020 - Secondary School)

At the time we went on our trip, part of the sea life centre was closed. We had not been informed of this when we booked the trip. (November 2019 - Primary School)

(October 2019 - Primary School)

(July 2019 - Primary School)

Great educational visit for pupils, however, very cramped shared lunch room with very limited time for pupils to eat. Gift shop was very expensive and limited souvenirs for children to buy. Toilets could have been bigger and designated school toilets would have been excellent from a safeguarding point of view. (May 2019 - Primary School)

Well planned activities with qualified staff who are clearly enthusiastic about their subject and this translates in the information given to pupils (May 2019 - Secondary School)
