The activity and challenge we gave the students helped them to engage with the Art work and displays. Staff were really appreciative and thought the activity was really good. (June 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 13630 )

Excellent facilities for school groups at this venue. Museum staff are very knowledgeable and tailor your visit to the needs of your group. We would highly recommend this venue to both primary and secondary schools. (June 2019 - Primary - Post No: 13498 )

Lovely venue, lots of great artifacts and the lady talking to the children about the Egyptians was very knowledgeable and patient. All staff pleasant and helpful. Coach was able to park right outside and although road was busy no crossing was needed. 4 stars due to lack of interactive resources for those that need a more hands of approach to learning and also lunch room a little too small, only allowing 1 class of 30 to eat comfortably. (May 2019 - Primary - Post No: 12428 )

Great place to visit, a knowledgeable leader for an hour guided tour then followed by self directed time in the galleries with well-prepared worksheets from the museum. (May 2019 - Primary - Post No: 11683 )

Excellent session, children really engaged (March 2019 - Primary - Post No: 10303 )

There was a good selection of artwork for us to view. The museum guide did an excellent job in introducing our students to the collection, and to two works in particular - she was thought-provoking and engaging. (February 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 9739 )

The exhibitions at the gallery is very good but there isn't always that much space to deliver teacher-led guided learning, either within the gallery or somewhere in the building. (October 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 7075 )

Very well-run workshop, closely supervised by Education Staff at the museum, and University Tutors. (June 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 4132 )

(June 2018 - Primary - Post No: 3759 )

Egyptian section was great, the Museum teacher worked really well with the children and they loved it! The looking around the impressionist galleries was a bit much for the children and not a lot to support it with even with the Camille story. It's a shame that we couldn't more of the Egyptians as that is our topic not Impressionism. (March 2018 - Primary - Post No: 1873 )

Very Welcoming and accommodating to our children (March 2018 - Primary - Post No: 1671 )

Organisation of trip and professionalism of staff made this a very rewarding experience. Papyrus workshop helped children to create their own designs using Egyptian colours, artefacts and hieroglyphs. (February 2018 - Primary - Post No: 900 )
