The children were introduced to the skill of belaying and ropes skills, when supporting each other to 'rock climb' and abseil. They were given guidance and assurance of how to keep each other safe, as well as learning the name of specialist equipment required for climbing. (July 2024 - Primary School)

We took a group of KS3-5 pupils with ASD and severe learning difficulties. It was an amazing trip and the staff all went above and beyond to ensure our pupils thrived. We will definitely be returning next year and would highly recommend to other schools. (July 2023 - Secondary School)

Great range of activities that are resourced well. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and dealt with the sickness well. Things to remember for future visits: the evenings are long-take plenty to keep the chn entertained. If scales are needs for diabetes/other medical conditions, you must take your own. A fantastic oppertunity for pupils to develop team building but also overcome their fears such as heights. The pupils supported one another and learnt a vareity of new skills. The trip was well organised by staff and the centre themselves and was such a shame children didn't get the oppertunity to stay longer. Can't wait to go back again next year! Definitely a 5 star experience for everyone involved. The staff could not do more to ensure that our stay was successful, they were all accommodating and adapted to any change in plans or circumstances. Very good day.
One problem was concerning canoeing activity. We went to a different part of the river than usual to access the canoes. We had to walk down some narrow, steep concrete steps. This was a dangerous way to get down considering we have some very uncoordinated children with us, two of whom have cerebral palsy. (May 2019 - Secondary School)

A very valuable learning experience for the children. Encouraging and dedicated staff.
The only small criticism I would mention was lack of provision if a child falls into the river whilst canoeing. We had 3 children fall in and there was no dry clothing available- we had to ask for dry clothing to be delivered from school. It was a good thing it was a warm day.
