| HYMB - Herts Young Mariners Base | The 90 Year 4 children all had a fantastic time at YM learning how to kayak, paddleboard and bellboating. They were able to work as a team, learn safety aspects of each activity and have a lot of fun. The instructors who have been there a while are all fantastic - we did have one instructor this time who struggled to run the bellboating activity and myself/ another teacher on day 2, had to use our knowledge from the past few years to manage the boat and the children when we were not with the other boat. I don't know if she was new to the role but the other instructor when we joined the 2nd bellboat for more games got very frustrated as well. More training and confidence needed there. | Black Hills Scout Camp | It is an amazing site set in a great location for walks and looking at woodland areas, valleys, rock formations. It is a safe open space for children to explore.
