(January 2023 - Primary School)

We had a lovely day at the park. The children got the chance to handle artefacts and discuss what they were. They really enjoyed the storytelling in the roundhouse and making the clay pots. It really reinforced their knowledge and helped to show the difference between Stone Age and Bronze Age. The only thing that would have made it better for them was if the playground had been open and the weather suitable to use it. (December 2022 - Primary School)

(November 2018 - Primary School)

Absolutely fantastic venue, amazing to see the preservation of an area relating to the Prehistoric Ages and the links to the curriculum. Chris was a wonderful leader as well. (November 2018 - Primary School)

Excellent knowledge sharing from both staff who met us at the site, friendly easily accessible and lots of areas to explore. Staff were well aware of how the site linked into the primary curriculum and were able to share specific information to support meeting our intended learning outcomes during our visit. The children loved the hands on opportunity to explore artifacts and to be experiential archaeologists by making clay pots which they were able to take away with them at the end of the visit. The roundhouse story with real fire was an additional way to really bring alive the way our Bronze Age ancestors lived. (October 2018 - Primary School & Secondary School)

(July 2018 - Primary School)

Brilliant, educational visit. Safe environment with excellent staff. Thoroughly recommend (May 2018 - Primary School)

The children thoroughly enjoyed Flag Fen, the group leader was very informative. Taking part in the dig gave the children an insight as to what it would be like to be an archaeologist, (February 2018 - Primary School)
