The children really enjoyed the day and the variety of activities on offer linked well to our topic learning. They gained lots of useful information. This would be even better closer to the start of a topic to give them some background information for their learning. (March 2020 - Primary School)

We have previously had a very good experience at The Collection in Lincoln, however this time the trip did not quite match expectation. Out termly topic is the Romans and the Collection provided a session on Roman shopping and a mock dig. The shopping experience seemed very focused on maths/budgeting skills which detracted from the Roman theme. Unfortunately, the mock dig involved more information about the process of archaeology than Roman specific detail. All the staff were friendly and helpful as usual. (July 2019 - Primary School)
