Bristol Museum and Art Gallery

'I really like the museum. It’s exploding with old things.’ Leah

Description

Bristol Museum & Art Gallery has collections of regional, national and international importance. It is one of the few museums to have been awarded designated status by the government - the mark of an outstanding museum.

‘For lots of our children it was their first trip to the Museum, with many children commenting that the day 'was so much fun' and asking their parents if they could come to the museum at the weekend!’ Teaching assistant, Fishponds Academy

Ground floor - World Cultures
First floor - Natural Sciences

“My child has a great time here and this place is like an oasis for her where she meets other children and spends some time with us. It is as good and an even better option than mother and toddler groups because it is available at any time of the week.” Parent
