Venue staff were very helpful - variety of galleries was excellent. 'Rockpool' sessions booked for students were more appropriate for primary school students - visit would have been better without them. (July 2024 - Secondary School)

The venue, I felt, could have been more accomodating for people who may wish to access the venue and who are wheelchair users. The doors out to the penguin viewing area, were very tricky to navigate as there was no way of holding them open or them being automatic. As each of us staff has a wheelchair user we were supporting, we had to awkwardly hold the door open with one arm before pushing our learners through. There was this same scenario as we entered the gift shop at the end of our visit, through the doors where you exit the aquarium. (July 2022 - Primary School)

The rock pool session was great and the pupils got to handle live creatures. The person leading the session was knowledgeable and pitched the questioning well. (June 2019 - Primary School)
