good! (October 2019 - Secondary - Post No: 17179 )

This was a great day- appropriate to our 5/6 year olds. Education sessions were appropriately pitched, fun and informative and the museum itself supported independent exploration of some fantastic exhibits. The miniature train ride completed our day perfectly. (October 2019 - Primary - Post No: 16722 )

Need for Speed workshop was well presented. (July 2019 - Primary - Post No: 14800 )

Good experience but the bus dropped us off a 5 min walk away from the Museum. workshop was good but only 30 mins. (July 2019 - Primary - Post No: 14529 )

Although the museum was busy, there was ample space around the exhibits for the young people to look at the trains . It is free and the admission procedure was swift and pleasant. The toilets were clean and there were enough so that queues were not long. (July 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 5567 )

The exhibition we went to see was closed without advanced warning. The rest of the museum is good but unrelated to our study. (July 2018 - Secondary - Post No: 5559 )

Very well organised and run. (July 2018 - Primary - Post No: 5436 )

The trip went very well. The girls loved looking at all the different kind of trains- old and new. Maybe consider girls taking their own backpacks with lunches in next year if this trip is repeated. Also maybe add a treasure hunt of things to find in museum while exploring. (June 2018 - Primary - Post No: 4759 )

Brilliant museum with plenty to see and do. The children loved sitting in the different types of trains and comparing them all. Fantastic workshops which held the children's attention well. (March 2018 - Primary - Post No: 1817 )

Maps not up to date, lack of space to congregate on arrival in reception, but exhibits were excellent and all staff were helpful and approachable. (February 2018 - Primary - Post No: 1089 )

An educational and enjoyable day. One child told me, "This is the best school trip every." (January 2018 - Primary - Post No: 707 )
