Fantastic visit. The staff could not have been more helpful. Brilliant interactive, handling workshop for the children, which was incredibly well pitched and engaging. The children loved the safari and there was a wide variety of animals that the children felt that they could get up close to. The class have been inspired for the follow up work which will take place back at school. I would recommend this visit. (September 2022 - Primary School)

Just to suggest that you include and SEND option above, chronologically, my group were KS3, but cognitively and emotionally much younger, hence the mismatch in review. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, regardless. (June 2022 - Secondary School)

(July 2019 - Secondary School)

poor accessibility for wheelchair bound pupils no toileting facilities with a hoist and changing bed (July 2019 - Primary School)

Lack of accessibility for non-ambulent wheelchair users No changing facilities for wheelchair users - a hoist and changing bed is required long queues (July 2019 - Primary School)

Accessibility is poor. Mobiloo had to be hired in order for children who need hoisting to be hoisted onto a changing bed. Lack of private areas for enteral administation of medication. Long queues (July 2019 - Primary School)

(March 2019 - Primary School)

We had not been informed that the giraffes, large sea otter and gorillas would be inside where we could not see them. Also, that the Castle play structure and the train were closed for refurbishment. (March 2019 - Primary School)

The Festival of Lights was stunning. In November lights go on at 4.30, then at 4 in December. There is a different theme each year. The safari element and the smaller areas to visit the animals were all very good. Students enjoyed the river cruise and feeding the sea lions. They felt that food served in the cafe, however, was overpriced and of poor quality. If we were to do this trip in future, I would advise students to take their own packed lunch or we would stop somewhere en route which was better value for money. (December 2018 - Secondary School)

Great facilities for students, a safe environment (October 2018 - Secondary School)

Next year, book guided tour for 11am, not 1030am. (July 2018 - Secondary School)

(June 2018 - Secondary School)
