Kennexstone Farm | | A very safe campsite, far enough from the beach to avoid worries of students slipping off for an authorised swim. Showers and toilet facilities are excellent and kept immaculately clean. This year there was no shop as they had just built a new part of the site which should be ready for next year's trip. | 16 July 2022 |

Château de la Baudonnière | | I would not recommend the venue: staff and students were disappointed by the level of comfort: e.g the age of the bedding, the standard of the food and the level at which the activities were pitched. I was disappointed to see that our students, although they are not keen to speak for fear of making mistakes, were given a workbook on a level which I had judged from the website as too easy for our pupils. My wish to have 2 different levels of challenge was not accommodated and this led to a degree of disengagement from our pupils. The way in which some activities were run- not the activities themselves- (e.g: bread making) was more suitable for primary school pupils. The same presentation made over breakfast of vocabulary was again more suited to primary school children. It was at times frustrating to feel that our teacher colleagues could not play a role in leading some activities as we would have been able to stretch the learners more than the staff were ready to do.

Voyager School Travel | | I was disappointed this time because of a lack of clarity in communication between too many staff involved and because I was frustrated to have to argue for a visit to take place which had not yet been included in previous years. Yet when done, it was well received. | 16 July 2022 |

Voyager School Travel | | I used this agency for the Paris Feb 2022 trip and they were excellent. But for this one, there were too many people involved and yet not enough clarity of communication. | 16 July 2022 |
PGL Boreatton Park | | Learning outdoors is a fantastic way to engage young children, most of the pupils in our school never get to experience anything like this and the whole experience has an impact on them - having to work as a team, meeting and working with new people, thinking independently and having to make decisions for themselves. All of these prove quite a challenge at times - but the pupils get there and feel a sense of pride and achievement in themselves. | 16 July 2022 |

PGL Little Canada | | PGL have a vast range of activities for schools to participate in. However, you may not always get your first choice. We were given dragon boat racing, vertical challenge and sensory trail originally, although we only chose vertical challenge from these three - our other two weren't granted. I requested to change the sensory trail and I was given three options (archery, ball games or beach walk) so I chose archery as it allows pupils to use multiple skills and is fun and competitive. Each activity is roughly 1 and a half hours which is a good amount of time to ensure everyone gets lots of turns but without getting bored. | 14 July 2022 |

The Chill Factore | | Our experience was shocking and not at all good or appropriate for our group of children. We were placed in a room upstairs which seemed great as we could keep the children together in a safe space and get changed easily in there. However, rather than having all the suits/boots etc. ready to go and get changed the girl had to keep going up and downstairs for them. This meant it took 45 minutes for us to be ready, meaning we had missed the first 15 minutes of our slot. I thought they would make it up for us at the end, however, as soon as it reached 11.30am we were asked to leave. The children had only gotten about 20 minutes on the doughnuts and ONE go on the sledges. Lots of the children wanted a turn on the slide and were old enough to do so. As they couldn't have a turn this led to multiple dysregulations within the group which led to one teacher being beat up by one of the children as they were so dysregulated, the room being trashed and other children being hurt and upset in the process.
It really is not good enough and is not a place I would ever visit again. | 14 July 2022 |

The Observatory Science Centre | | The workshop wasn't as interactive as I thought it would be. There was lots to see -I wasn't sure where would be best palaces to go. There didn't seem to be a map outlining the different exhibits - which would have been useful. | 14 July 2022 |
