All young people attending age range 14-20 years really enjoyed the First Tracks programme. The programme supported all young people to engage in the skiing or snowboarding. They have raised confidence, communication and social skills. All made new friends with other young people from external groups attending the programme. They have built good relationships with supporting staff and staff from Snow Camp who deliver the programme. All young people are returning to complete the Graduate Programme in Oct/Nov. Majority of Children engaged well throughout. The session for some was a little long and the cold was an issue for them, however this was only 2 children and the others were fully engrossed in the entire time. (November 2022 - Primary School)

Our experience was shocking and not at all good or appropriate for our group of children. We were placed in a room upstairs which seemed great as we could keep the children together in a safe space and get changed easily in there. However, rather than having all the suits/boots etc. ready to go and get changed the girl had to keep going up and downstairs for them. This meant it took 45 minutes for us to be ready, meaning we had missed the first 15 minutes of our slot. I thought they would make it up for us at the end, however, as soon as it reached 11.30am we were asked to leave. The children had only gotten about 20 minutes on the doughnuts and ONE go on the sledges. Lots of the children wanted a turn on the slide and were old enough to do so. As they couldn't have a turn this led to multiple dysregulations within the group which led to one teacher being beat up by one of the children as they were so dysregulated, the room being trashed and other children being hurt and upset in the process. It really is not good enough and is not a place I would ever visit again. (July 2022 - Primary School)

Superb - first time I have used it. It was much better than Xscape - arrival / checking in and organisation in particular was brilliant. Beginner's slop great and having a 1h50m lesson allowed the students to make much more progress than 1h. (March 2020 - Secondary School)

Can be a bit chaotic when large school groups are all changing and returning gear. Could make it a bit more obvious with clear instructions and signs. Also in snow park signs and visual directions would also help. The 'safety briefing' is all well and good but instructions are not that clear. We were watched walking up the slope to and making our way to the ice tube only to be eventually told to go back down and get boards. (July 2019 - Primary School)

DS UK are extremely good at getting our students on the slope in a safe and secure fashion. Oh, and the students loved every minute!!!! (April 2018 - Secondary School)

Expensive however it is worth doing the beginners 6 hour course as it provides you with the basic skills enabling the beginner quicker access onto the slopes once in resort.
