The zoo was brilliant and the pupils had an excellent day. However we arrived late and all found that the workshop went on too long. Considering next year not booking the workshop and us discussing the content of the workshop with the pupils as we walk around. (April 2022 - Primary School)

It may have been better if there was a member of zoo staff to accompany us on the trip to explain about the animals or even suggest the best route round the park for the time we had. (February 2022 - Secondary School)

It was far busier than we had been led to believe. Queues to see main animals were up to an hour. The map had not been updated to show one way systems, so very confusing and difficult to plan a route (July 2021 - Primary School)

The experience for children is amazing.
More needs to be done for children having their dinners under shelter... We ended up sat in the rain, along with lots of other schools, due to limited places. (March 2020 - Primary School)

Fabulous day. Excellent resource, so many learning opportunities for the children. This may well be the only opportunity some of our children have to go to a zoo. We will return next year depending on budget!

Workshop was excellent and made accessible to all children. Children were able to be hands on with artefacts and responded to the size, feel and smell of the items, but came away with a clear understanding of the reasons for deforestation and a sense of what they can do to help save the rainforests and why.
