| University of Oxford Botanic Garden | Lovely venue and very knowledgeable education officer, students particularly enjoyed the greenhouses. The session we signed up for was 'Human impact on the environment' and although the talk we received was excellent and tied in with this theme, the activities that followed about adaptation and biomimicry did not fit in particularly well. It might be better to create some new activities that require less reading but are more engaging/investigative so that students explore the collection more thoroughly and are required to think more independently e.g. drawing features, identifying adaptations, suggesting ideas. | 26 June 2024 | |
