Staff at Tatton Park were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and pitched the activities perfectly. The children all gained hands on experience of how to light fires with stone, wood then metal, track deer, grind wheat to make flour and look at artefacts. (February 2024 - Primary School)

(December 2023 - Primary School)

Venue/workshop probably aimed at older children as quite a lot of sitting about watching/explaining what to do. Also staff seemed a little stressed when working with EAL children and were a bit frustrated that the children couldn't understand what was being said to them. Also the venue for our Stone Age experience was at an adapted Viking/Anglo Saxon settlement so not ideal. (November 2023 - Primary School)

A very worthwhile day, however, as activities are similar to a year 7 visit it is unlikely to run again (February 2022 - Secondary School)

(November 2021 - Secondary School)

Very well organised trip. Clear guidelines and procedures followed throughout the day. Safety reminders also given. Staff were fantastic. Would go again. (November 2021 - Primary School)

A very successful trip. The venue was safe, secure and the staff ensured all protocols were adhered to. Children followed all guidance and were well versed in expectations, rules and routines for the day, in preparation. Staff were experienced and supported staff when adjustments to activities were required to suit children's needs. (November 2021 - Primary School)

A really constructive visit which allowed plenty of time for students to test the techniques shown and learnt in lesson. Also gave me an opportunity to check their understanding by questioning and allowing peer instruction and feedback. This will be continued in future lessons (November 2021 - Secondary School)
