Excellent centre. Wet weather when we attended, staff were very proactive and on the ball at stopping activities until they had the all clear on whether it was safe to proceed when a stormy spell looked like lightening may occur.

Excellent day at Kingswood - well organised. Thunder started during day whilst activities in progress, activities immediately stopped by leaders and could not resume until go ahead had been obtained that it was safe to continue.

smaller venue suited us, especially as we had the place to ourselves. Only negative, lack of en-suite to keep children in rooms!

The food and condition of the building - dorms, shower blocks etc are very poor though.

Kingswood Peak Venture has a very well organised set of activities. It was just a shame that accommodation wasn't organised and we found some soiled bed sheets. Also, when we arrived our bags were thrown all over the car park by another group- they weren't locked away. (which is a simple fix- the baggage holding area just needs a door and a key)
The Sunday night meal was also dreadful!

We had performance issues with staff compared to in previous years, but they took this feedback on board and have been assured that it should improve next year. The children greatly enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.
