| Chessington World of Adventures Resort | Chessington was a fantastic place. However, we spent almost 3 hours commuting by train and walking. We spent only two and a half hours there and didn't have the opportunity to see all the animals. The trip's primary purpose was to see animals from the Savanna, such as elephants, giraffes, lions, etc. We saw only the lion, and we didn't find the elephants and the giraffes. We didn't like that we had to walk so much to see all the animals as they were distributed around the park. The experience was good, but I don't recommend it for nursery or reception children. | 13 May 2024 | |

| BXM Expeditions | Students involved in the gold Duke of Edinburgh's award completed their practice expedition in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The group of 9 IB25 students spent day 1 working on camp craft and navigation around Hay on Wye. The group ascended to experience some wonderful views around Talgarth on day 2. We all experienced the "four seasons" of weather on day 3 making our way to the scenic Llangors lake. The final day was spent navigating on the lowlands around the lake. The students were challenged and thoroughly engaged in the highs and lows of camping and walking 3 nights and 4 days. The Mountain leaders, Matt and Jane, were caring, friendly with the group.
