| Chessington World of Adventures Resort | Year 11 students enjoyed their day. Website not very informative - various parts of the park were closed which was not advertised. The cafe we chose as a meeting point was closed which caused problems on the day. Had to relocate and then get the message to 130 students! | Banham Zoo | It was a lovely day and the facilities were great. It would have been nice to have somewhere to store our bags while we toured. It was nice to go on a weekday when the area wasn't so crowded as it made the animals more accessible (visibly) to the children. | University Museum of Zoology | Very well organised, we were met at the door and allowed to leave our belongings in the lunchroom. Lift access for a wheelchair user had been arranged. Children were able to roam the galleries with their clipboards, remaining in sight of supervising adults. We had been sent resources prior to the visit-we could not visit the Learning Lab as the curator had Covid. | Foxburrow Farm - Suffolk Wildlife Trust | The staff at Foxburrow were very informative and able to answer the children's questions and support them with their observations. Although the water cycle and life cycle of plants were not mentioned the leaders made great links to the life cycle of animals, scientific observations and to our Wet and Wild topic of the Amazon. | Holland Park Ecology Centre | We had an excellent experience at the Holland Park Ecology Centre. From beginning to end they were incredibly helpful and informative throughout the booking process, pre-visit and of course during the trip itself. All members of staff and parents felt completely at ease and assured that the day was in good hands and that everything would run smoothly and effectively. The children had a wonderful time. Along with repeatedly stating that it was the best day ever, they learnt a great deal about deciduous and evergreen trees (linking in accurately with the Year 1 curriculum) within a fun and explorative environment.
