The staff working in the pits were incredibly knowledgeable, had a great manner with the boys in year 8 especially. There was perfect bilingual signage and information to inspire and use the Welsh language. Great area to eat packed lunch both inside and outside. (October 2023 - Secondary School)

It really depends on the guide you have - ours was excellent and gave a fantastic insight into what it was like to work down the mines. He was brilliant with the pupils, using humour to maintain behaviour & interest. (December 2019 - Primary School)
