Very enjoyable experience. A guide for the whole trip would have been beneficial as some classes managed to grab a volunteer which made it far more enjoyable. The workshop may have been good but needs to be booked well in adcvance to help break up the day. (October 2024 - Primary School)

The staff working in the pits were incredibly knowledgeable, had a great manner with the boys in year 8 especially. It really depends on the guide you have - ours was excellent and gave a fantastic insight into what it was like to work down the mines. He was brilliant with the pupils, using humour to maintain behaviour & interest. (December 2019 - Primary School)
