Can't praise Stubbers highly enough. This was a first class trip for our Year 2 and Year 3 students. We thought that because of their age, there would be tears and many refusals but the children exceeded our expectations. This is down to the exemplary instruction they receive from well trained, committed instructors who know exactly how to get the best out of each and every child. This is the second year we've done this team building trip for these year groups and it is now a permanent fixture in our curriculum provision. (September 2020 - Primary)

Excellent range of activities on offer and high quality coaching. (December 2019 - Primary)

(October 2019 - Primary)

(July 2019 - Primary)

The children had an excellent time and enjoyed an amazing selection of activities. The staff were great and could not have been more helpful. The centre was extremely well organised. (July 2019 - Primary)

The only issue we had was that we took a child with CF and this was disclosed to Stubbers on their disclosure form, but on the second day they matched the child's group with n instructor who also had CF. This came to light when the IJPS teacher told the instructor about the medical needs og her group and the instructor disclosed his condition and immediately moved away to stop cross-contamination. The Centre changed to a non-CF instructor straight away and the teacher and Group Leader raised this with Stubbers management and received assurances that tis would not happen again, and it didn't. Parents of child were immediately informed and the child was closely supervised. No ill effects occurred on the trip as a result. (June 2019 - Primary)

Superb facilities and staff. Safeguarding and safety is an integral part to the centre. Our children had an excellent week with the Stubbers team. (June 2019 - Primary)

Stubbers activity centre is great! The changes made to camps this year in regard to the teacher tents made a great impact on staff wellbeing, also the addition of 1 hours interaction with stubbers leaders offering some rest bite was also a lovely addition. However - please consider what is being offered to on duty staff. This should be make clear prior to the trip starting so that the staff planning can consider this in the risk assessment and communicate more clearly the ratios for shifts. The instructors this year seemed very passionate - whilst mostly familiar faces from previous trips I would like to thank and celebrate their instructions and engagement with the children. The arrival at Stubbers this year was not expected. Whilst I understand from feedback of Stubbers managers that their is a clause on the paperwork that states we cannot access tent areas until after 5pm, we were not clear on this before the visit and therefore the planned arrangements shared with staff and children did not proceed at the intended times. (October 2018 - Primary)

The children achieved our objectives and showed many developed personal characteristics. Catering was very basic, we will view alternatives for next year. The activities undertaken were excellent. Accomodation was also ideal. Coach company were punctual and accommodating, use again. Will plan on booking next year, one week earlier, start on Wednesday lunchtime and return on Friday straight after lunch. Excellent learning experience. (October 2018 - Primary)

Very good as usual. (September 2018 - Primary)

Lovely trip! The children loved their experience and partook in activities that would not have access to in their daily lives. The leaders were organised, well prepared and knew how to make it fun for the children! (July 2018 - Primary)

Received very positive feedback from the young people. The day was generally well organised and the centre staff were supportive. Some of the activities didn't work out as well as anticipated - Orienteering for example. Would look at some different activities next time. Quad biking was very popular. Would consider water sports next time as well. (April 2018 - Primary & Secondary)
