(June 2024 - Primary School)

Not set up for school groups. Staff rude in front of the children and had to take the children out of the house before speaking to a manager about the way our group was treated (June 2024 - Primary School)

Brilliant staff (July 2023 - Primary School)

An amazing opportunity to visit the house and undertake a brilliant workshop. (April 2022)

All went well (February 2020 - Primary School)

(December 2019 - Primary School)

Excellent school trip. Due to being in winter months, we were unable to visit upstairs - this may have been notified but was not apparent/explicitly notified and I had particularly wanted my class to see this.. We were unable to book/ use a room for lunch so had to eat outside - fortunately was the only dry day this week. Absolutely visit again next year but will change my yearly planning so can go in the summer months. (November 2019 - Primary School)

(July 2019 - Primary School)

Would benefit greatly from a guided tour (July 2019 - Primary School)

Another awesome venue! The children were excited to see such an exquisite house (May 2019 - Primary School)

Outstanding. The Living history workshop was brilliant. Mrs Pilkington scared the children with her ways. She was an outstanding actress who really captured the imagination of the children. They are still talking about it now, after two weeks. They remember every single thing she taught them about children and servants in the Royal household. (October 2018 - Primary School)

(July 2018 - Primary School)

Very self led, although tour guides are present - many did not engage with the children. Open to members of the public, which means rooms are often overcrowded. (July 2018 - Primary School)

Short amount of time in the house as busy period and lots of other visitors. Walked down to the beach - not sandy so rather disappointing. (July 2018 - Primary School)
