The National Memorial is symbolic in recognizing the lives lost due to conflict around the world. It is a somber place to visit and experience how many lives have been sacrificed to keep world peace. A fantastic place to visit for students of all ages. (February 2024 - Primary School)

The education department at the National Memorial Arboretum is newly formed this academic year. The leader is an ex-teacher, which definitely enhanced the experience, it was so well-organised and the resources were excellent. (November 2023 - Primary School)

To get the most out of a visit here, I would recommend it to upper school, KS2. I would also recommend that guide-lead sessions were booked in as it is too large to navigate unless you know exactly what to look for. (February 2023 - Primary School)

Need a longer time to really do the Arboretum justice - too much to see in a short visit (November 2022 - Primary School)

Issues concerning treatment and attitude of staff and students (November 2019 - Secondary School)

Fantastic organisation skills. They were there to greet us as soon as our coach arrived and told us what we could do and where to go. The activities were led by volunteers, who really engaged with the children and responded and adapted lessons well to their needs. We were aware that we had to have lunch outside, however because of the bad weather, the cafe supported us and gave us seats for the children. (November 2019 - Primary School)

Moving place. Recommend it highly. (November 2019 - Secondary School)

A brilliant gig. Thoroughly enjoyed by a big audience. A super letter of thanks sent by NMA to RJL (January 2019)

Exception place to visit. So many interlinked things to think about. Perfect for Remembrance and reflection. (January 2019 - Secondary School)

A very well organised and well structured visit. Leaders were very knowledgable and ensured the visit was engaging for pupils. An activity booklet was given to the children making it very interactive. Parking was great and the facilities were perfect. (January 2019 - Primary School)

(December 2018 - Primary School)

An amazing place to visit. Made the 100 years anniversary very poignant for the children as the memorials brought everything to a vivid and real thing. (November 2018 - Primary School)

A really fantastic day out with many memorials to visit as well as a chapel and gift shop. The children gained a much better understanding of the different memorials and what they were about. (November 2018 - Primary School)

An amazing day. such a thought provoking place and the children really showed understanding towards a variety of different memorials and events taking place. More time is needed to see everything. (November 2018 - Primary School)
