| Hilltop Outdoor Centre | Another superb stay at Hilltop even though the weather was nothing short of horrendous! The centre as always was well kept, with welcoming staff and a great range of activities. Having visited many activity centres over the years, Hilltop offers a far more personalised experience than many of the 'big brands', with a 'home from home' feel. The range of activities was good and although the centre does not offer watersports like some, this did not matter at all. We loved the 'challenge by choice' approach which enabled all children to feel safe and secure that they would not be forced to do something that they did not wish to. | PGL Chateau de Grande Romaine | The PGL Chateau de la Grande Romaine was well equipped with tennis courts and large open spaces for students to play sports. There was also a swimming pool which was closed during our visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though there was some staining on some bedroom walls. The canteen offered cereals, croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, yoghurt and fruit for breakfast. Packed lunches were made by students. They each took one baguette to prepare their own sandwich.
