| YHA Ironbridge Coalport | Good food and good service after a slow first evening. The rooms were just the right size for the pupils and facilities perfectly satisfactory. The school room experience in particular was excellent for a comparison to their own experience of school. We were well looked after by the staff who hosted us for the day as a school. | PGL Little Canada | It was a disappointing trip. PGL has decided to change their menu and therefore their was no hot food for breakfast and a few of the lunchtimes. I felt our children were hungry as the activities were very physical and therefore, a proper hot food menu should have ben supplied as stated at the time of booking. There was also a lack of qualified instructors at the time which meant that our programme of activities were limited. We had chosen the location for the water sport activities and were only offered kayaking (with some children missed out on dur to a windy day!). The activities were very similar - lots of team building / running around the site. The Group Leader also lacked direction and we found that our own staff were far more engaging and forward thinking with our children than he was. | 08 September 2022 | |
