although it was busy as we had booked a slot we didn't have to queue long, they kept us in our group of 16 for the pop. Everyone enjoyed he sights of london and nice clear day which makes a difference. its only takes about 40mins so you need other activities to fill the day, small park near where you can eat packed lunches and younger ones can play in the park. Note there are no free public toilets, only ones near the london eye are £1 per person! use the toilets at waterloo before you leave the station if you are travelling by train to avoid a big toilet bill, they take contactless card and coins.
