| Rayburn Tours Ltd | This is certainly a very important residential trip for Classics pupils from Fourth form to A Level. All the archaeological sites we visited had a direct link with the pupils' curriculum and especially their GCSE and A Level course. For instance, the visit and exploration of the temple of Zeus and the Parthenon enabled low ability pupils to create stronger links between what they learn in the course and what they saw in real life. | Stonehenge | The visitor centre and walk around the stones worked well. The shuttle bus to the stones was essential, and it worked well separating into the two classes for this. The workshops were not as good this year as last, due to being inside in a very echoey room! The content of the workshops was interesting, but not all the children got to experience everything.
