Our children had an excellent time in the wonderlab and the wondershow and have loved talking about the visit since they returned to school. (November 2024)

The museum is amazing, and its staff so well organised. The Wonder Lab was great for engaging children and eliciting scientific questioning and reasoning - the children particularly liked the thermal imaging camera and the rotating planets display. The "It Takes Guts" show covered all the children's learning about the digestive system and the categories of nutrition that humans need. They were able to show things that are just not possible in a classroom, such as showing how fast carbs burn using a blowtorch. Some classes also explored the Homes Through History exhibition, which was a great link to the previous electricity unit completed. Everyone wished they had more time to explore the rest of the museum! (February 2024 - Primary School)

(February 2024 - Secondary School)

Not ideal for 6th form students as they had to be supervised quite closely - requested by the Museum (January 2024 - Secondary School)

Unable to book wonderlab so quite disappointed - must clarify in furture trips (January 2024 - Primary School)

(December 2023 - Primary School)

We had a fantastic and educational day at the museum. The children loved the IMAX film and the Wonderlab particularly. Our only issue was that the designated picnic areas were very busy so it wasn't possible for our school to use them at the time we needed to have lunch. (December 2023 - Primary School)
