They were very knowledgeable about the plants growing on the gorge walk, how the caves etc were formed. | City of London - Hampstead Heath Education Centre | A great workshop on soil. The group leaders were knowledgeable and passionate about the topic. The introduction provided the key facts and vocabulary for the walk around the Heath that followed and the latter part of the workshop where the students carried out a fair test on different soil types. | Chertsey Museum | The whole day was lead by the Museum staff. They provided a good range of activities including, looking at artefacts, craft, drama and a trail. The pace was good and they covered a lot. It worked well as an introduction to our Roman topic but would have also worked as a conclusion. | Thinktank Birmingham science museum | The range of exhibits at the Think Tank Museum was broad and covered lots of different subjects, including art, the human body, animals, engineering and British history. There were lots of exhibits and attractions that link to the Year 4 science topics.
