Our requests were met perfectly by the farm. Space was tight for a 4 form entry school so we had lunch in 2 sittings... 30 mins was not long enough with taking off muddy boots and coats etc, so I would consider a longer lunch slot next time for us personally. The children had a fantastic day and lots of spontaneous learning occurred, some children didn't know a chick came from an egg so it was fab to see it first hand. We were able to experience feeding lots of different animals and built in the need for hand washing and personal hygiene as an added bonus. When asked about their favourite part of the day the children commented on feeding the animals, the pig race at the end, the den building and the lamb feeding. We weren't able to go on the tractor ride as it was too muddy, but this didn't detract from the fun of the day! (March 2020 - Primary School)

Probably be better in better weather, the train wasn't running and we couldn't use the play park because of the rain, but there was enough to keep us occupied! (December 2018 - Primary School)
